ANIMALISTIC ART FESTIVAL
The “Zooart” animalistic art festival was created in 2014.
More than 200 artists from Russian Federation and other countries took part in the exhibitions of the festival. The exhibitions presented various types of works: paintings, graphics, sculpture, panel pictures, textiles, glass, ceramics, objects, installations and dolls. Young artists and well-known animalists of older generations took part in the festival. Among the events of the festival are cultural and ecological events, musical performances and workshops, exhibitions and competitions of children paintings, charitable activities and animal shelter presentations.
Format of the festival changes together with the world. The topics of human-animal communication and saving the environment and its species becomes of more current interest for the society which is embodied in various events. At the same time not only “zoo”, but also “art” format suggests new forms of interactions with audience, new language of perception.
