«DOG'S LIFE» EXHIBITION

Topic of the exhibition: relations between a man and a dog in present, past and future; life of dogs in the city, responsibility for the ones domesticated.
Charitable event supports the Animal First Aid Fund (NGO) for the animals in need. The fund was created in 2012 by a cynologist Elena Daeva (1986-2014). Over the time the fund has helped many dozens of dogs.
All the funds raised during the charitable even and 10% of the selling income will be transferred to the fund.
The very special guest of the exhibition is the oldest animal painter of Saint-Petersburg Tatyana Kapustina.
Dogs are allowed at the exhibition.
“Centre of books and graphics” gallery, located in the center of Saint-Petersburg, near to the Nevsky prospect.
Total area 210 sq.m. (2 halls)
Participation in the exhibition:
the following creations of art are considered acceptable: paintings, graphics, sculpture, art objects.
Photographs are not accepted.
There are no limitations on genres, styles and techniques, compliance with the project topic is required.
Maximum height for installations is 3 m.
Exhibition is not covered by festival budget.
Standard participation fee is 25 euro, which includes:
– exhibiting 1 work in the exposition (size is irrelevant);
– covering a part of common expenses for advertisement and necessary print works (including advertising);
– placing artist information on the festival website in the “Participants” section;
– participation certificate;
– 1 catalogue of the “ZooArt” festival.
Additional fee for every extra exhibit is 10 euro.
Participants cannot exhibit more than 10 works (subject to agreement with the project monitor).
Western Union, WebMoney, PayPal, banking transfer to an account in “Sberbank”, cash (against signed receipt). All the details are provided with the reply to the application.
Exhibit transportation to and from Saint-Petersburg is paid by the artist (author).

The application shall include:
– Name (or stage name) of the author;
– Name of the work, dimensions, technique, year;
– Files (photo, preview) or the works.
If you have a dog, please, kindly send its name, we will name it as your co-author on the tag.
After the selection of works for the exhibition, high quality image files of the selected works for the catalogue are to be provided before 1 September 2017.
Installation of the exhibits takes place on 08 September 2017 from 11.00 till 19.00 in the Centre of Books and Graphics, located in 55 Liteiny prospect.
